”Försupen, vansinnig och suspenderad” knivhögg Johan vice häradshövding Axel Fredric Schmiterlöw till döds, då de rodde över Tidan vid Tidavads by. Då Johan upptäckte att det fanns fleravitten, kastade han sig omedelbart i Tidan och dränkte sig.
<p>Fil. mag. 1814. Prästvigd 1814. Adjunkt på flera ställen bl.a. Rångedala (15) och Amnehärad (16).</p><p>Född 1791-02-03 på Stora Stenkälla i Trästena (16).</p>Död 1825-07-21 i Tidavad (16).
