<p> </p><p>Death Notice, NY Times, 25 Nov 1873, p8, col.5-Staten Island-TWC Moore, born in the Province of Nova Scotia in 1794, died at Richmond on the 20th instant. In the year 1816, and immediately after the close of the War of 1812, Mr. TWC Moore was appointed assistant King’s Messenger to the British Legation at Washington. Subsequently and in due course, he was promoted to the full office of King’s Messenger and Courier, which position he maintained until 1866, when after 50 years service, he was permitted by his Government to retire on full pay.
