{geni:about_me} Leopold Philipsborn's burial stone with Hebrew script was made by Izekial (Siel) Philipsborn, according to a letter from his son, Richard (Raphael) Philipsborn, to his nieces and nephews. He goes on with this anecdote: "Of his career one story is told that I must repeat:
'At that time all doctors made their diagnoses from specimens of urine taken from their patients. A very rich land-owner in the neighborhood of Bentschen [Zbaszyn] sent for him one day and had prepared before Dr Philipsborn arrived a specimen of horse urine which he handed to the doctor as his own. Promptly upon examination the doctor sent a bale of hay to the land-owner's house. From this day he was recognized as a very smart and famous doctor.'" - letter property of Thomas D. Philipsborn
