Shepherd. He worked for a few years for the Landdrost Ernst Heimbrock, then in Leese for Diederich Kochner[?]. He was known as a very helpful person. About 13 years before his death, a horse had kicked him in the foot,which healed incompletely, causing him to limp the rest of his life. It eventually caused an infection in his leg, and he was bedridden for nine days, suffering pain in all parts of his body, eventually causing head pain anddeath.
