Hartmann predigte überhaupt 54 volle Jahre das Evangelium. Er wurde mit seiner 2.Ehegattin, weil sie beyde wenige Stunden nacheinander starben, in Ein Grab bestattet. Den Hinterlassenen diesesJubel-Greises erlaubte man ein Cenotaphium in der Haupt-Kirche, welches in Rotenburg eine Ehre vom ersten Rang ist.
