Funeral services for Clark J. Manser will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, February 28, 2013 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Drum officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery. Mr. Manser was born June 23, 1933 in St. Petersburg, Florida, son of the late Norman Joseph Manser and the former Viola Theresa Henry. He went home to be with the Lord on February 24, 2013. Clark spent many years in the bottling and aerospace industries. He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Riverside Masonic Lodge and former President of the St. Augustine Shrine Club. Mr. Manser was preceded in death by his son Clark Joseph Manser, Jr. His survivors include his wife of 58 years, Shirley Manser; daughter, Star Angelia Manser Ingle (Jerry); sons, Jack David Manser and William Edward Manser; sisters, Caroline B. Keyser and Viola Shafer (Ernest); grandchildren, Christina Irezarry (Sam), Joseph Manser and Gage Manser and numerous extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home.
