Zeigler, 64, Box 79, Martinsburg RR 2, formerly of Ramey, Clearfield County, died Thursday evening, Jan. 23,1997, at Altoona Hospital. She was born June 12,1932, in Philipsburg, the daughter of the late William H. and Effie Jane (Hollen) Cox. She married Nelson M. Zeigler Dec. 23, 1968, in Ramey. He died Jan. 7,1973. Mrs. Zeigler was a member of Parsonville Assembly of God Church, Houtzdale. She retired as a secretary from Ratheon, Sudbury, Mass., in 1991, after three years of service. Mrs. Zeigler attended the Moshannon Valley High School. She also graduated from the Altoona School of Commerce and Framingham State College, Framingham, Mass., receiving degrees in computer programming and English literature. Mrs. Zeigler was a published author of several short stories and poems. She was a member and officer of the Sudbury Grange. Surviving are two daughters: Patricia J. Zumstein, with whom she resided, and Marilyn M. Cole of Plymouth, Minn.; two brothers: James David of Ontario, Calif., and Clifford Joseph of Ramey; two sisters: Elsie J. Nolet of Houston, and Linda E. Estrada of Hitchcock, Texas; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Friends will he received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m. today at Parsonville Assembly of God Church, Houtzdale. Arrangements by John C. Bolger Funeral Home, Martinsburg. ZEIGLER - Services for Betty J. Zeigler of Martinsburg RR 2, formerly of Ramey, will be held at 7 p.m. today at the Parsonville Assembly of God Church, Houtzdale, by Pastor Richard Ritenour. Interment will be made Monday, Jan, 27, at Muinmert Meetinghouse Cemetery, East Berlin, Adams County, with Pastor Paul Bushhorn officiating. Friends will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until time of services today at Parsonville Assembly of God Church, Houtzdale. Arrangements by John C. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
