Birth: Mar. 7, 1883 Death: Jun. 29, 1954 Emmett H. Lowmiller, 71, a native of Steubenville, Ohio, died Sunday at Oakwood Village, Bedford, Ohio. Mr. Lowmiller, a retired stationary engineer for the Pennsylvania Railroad, had resided at Bedford for 17 years. He was a member of the Park Presbyterian Church at Northfield Center, Ohio. The son of the late David and Mary Ann Purviance Lowmiller, he was born March 7, 1883 in Steubenville, Ohio. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Marie Jackson Lowmiller, two sons Louis E. and Emmett V. Lowmiller, both of Bedford, and a brother, Ernest, and a sister Miss Clarinda Lowmiller of Wattsville, Ohio. Friends will be received at the McClave Funeral Home in Steubenville, Ohio from 2 to 4. and from 7 to 9 pm wednesday. Services will be conducted at the funeral home Thursday at 2:30 with the Rev. John Morrow of the Park Presbyterian Church officiating.
