Lucille was born on May 22, 1918, in Atlantic, Iowa, to Charles H. andSusie E. (White) Williams. She attended Riverdale High School and graduated with the class of 1936. She married Harold D.F. “Louie” Fiddelke on June 15, 1939, at the parsonage of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Columbus.
She was a devoted wife and mother and also worked at the Unimart Deli for eight years. Lucille enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved playing and teaching piano, sewing and playing cards. She was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Kearney, Concordia Women’s Group,Zion Senior Citizens and the Kensington Card Club.
Surviving relatives include her daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Vern Lantis of Kearney; son and daughter-in-law, Rod and Jo Fiddelke of Ravenna; grandchildren, Sue Breinig and husband Curt of Riverdale, Eric Lantis and wife Kristy of Columbus, Jill Churchill and husband Doug of Omaha, Joell Penney and husband Jay of Winoke, N.J., and Scott Fiddelkeand wife Karalee and Greg Fiddelke and wife Misti, all of Ravenna; and17 great-grandchildren.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Louie” in 2008; and her brother, James Williams.
