Wilhelmine, Louise (sic), Sophie Kuhlmann was born on the 27 of June, 1897 in Gage County, Nebraska. Her parents were Fred Weber and his wife,Caroline Rahe. She passed away Tuesday noon, July 29 after a long andpainful illness, attaining the age of 50 years, 1 month and 2 days.
Soon after her birth she was baptized in the name of the Triune God byPastor Phillip Heist. At the age of 4 years she moved with her parentsto Thayer Co., Nebraska. Here she attended school. sShe (sic) receivedreligiou (sic) training in St. Paul's congregation at Byron where she was confirmed on the 9th of April, 1911, by Pastor Frederick Vetter. Hermemory verse was Matt. 6, 33: "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and its righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you."
On February 11, 1916 she was united in marriage with John Kuhlmann in St. Paul's church (sic). Two sons were born to them, Mrs. Kuhlmann had been ailing for a number of years. A year ago she became bedfast, but steadfastly bore up under her affliction, hoping to recover sometime. Shewas, however, resigned in God's will.
She is survived by her husband, John Kuhlmann; her sons Walter and Raymond; one grandchild; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Weber; 2 sisters, Mrs. Lester Dankenbring and Mrs. Albet (sic) Ropers; her daughter-in-law; her parents in law and other relatives and friends.
