NOTE: From Mark Noble's "Memoirs of the persons and families who byfemales are allied to or descended from the protectorate-Houseof Cromwell"pub in 1784:"Sir John Barrington, bart, son and heir of the last baronet ofthe same names, was elected a member for Newtown, in the isle ofWight, in the seventh and several succeeding parlements ofGreat-Britain [after the act of Union???]. He married Mary,daughter of Patricius Roberts, esq. who died june 17 1752: sirJohn himself died in april 1752, leaving no child.
