NOTE: Maureen Fenby reported that she found in "Lord of the City" byCharles Kightly and Rachel Semlyn, pub York City 1980 that therewas a Leonard Thompson who was lord mayor in 1649 and in 1659.She also reported that a plan of his house was in "Scarborough,York and Leeds" by Hugh Murray, ISBD 0951998137, page 28._________________________________________________________From Fenton Prickett's history of the Pricketts, therewas aLeonard Thomson goldsmith of York who d. 1712, leaving som landintrust with Marmaduke Prickett and was thus highly likely somerelation of this Leonard Thomson.______________________________________________________He was a Parliamentarian and was displaced from being analdermanin Sept 1662.
