Er wird in einer Einwohnerliste aus dem Jahre 1575 namentlich erwähnt. In der Musterungsliste vom Jahr 1583 und 1603 wird er als " Schütze " genannt. Er war Inhaber der Seld 5 oben im Dorf, siehe Flurkarte von 1823, und hatte zusammen mit Sylvester Hoe aus Pappelau und Sebastian Autenrieth aus Asch 1 Tagwerk Wiesen.
