Holland, übernahm das Professorat der Physik 1679, Assistent der med. Fakultät, endlich 1685 Prof. der Anatomie, darauf 1686 medicus ordinarius im Spital, welches Amt er 8 Jahre lang versah, wird 1701 Pathologe, Scheidt war der erste Prof., welcher Chemie dozierte, wurde Hanau- u. Birkenfeldischer geheimer Rath, Physiscus der Stadt Straßurg"
