Sein Rosenwappen ist am von ihm gestifteten Kronleuchter in der Kirche zu Marienhafe zu sehen. Ippen erwähnt in diesem Zusammenhang eine "Adlerkrönung".
Er war ab 1615 Deputierter. Ast erbte den Crumminga'schen Herd zu Upgant von Amos II. Crumminga.
