Terry O'Connell officiating. Mrs. Harvey died Feb. 1, 2004, in Oakwood Country Place, McMinnville, as the result of heart failure from amyloidosis. She was 76. She was born April 23, 1927, in Amarillo, Texas, daughter of LeRoy and Hilda Billigmeier Lidell. She grew up and was educated in Oakes, N.D. She worked for Western Union as a traveling telegrapher during World War II and continued working for the company as an accounting supervisor until she and her first husband, Edward Paul Sanders, moved to Hermiston in 1971, He preceded her in death. In 1984, she and Jay L. Harvey married. They moved in 1998 to McMinnville, where Mrs. Harvey continued her work in various charities, including the St. Vincent de Paul Society. She also loved gardening and bowling. Survivors include her husband of McMinnville; her son, Paul T. Sanders of Vancouver, Wash.; her daughter, Pamela Sanders Masoud of Miami; five sisters, Donna Poss of McMinnville, Kathleen Kevorkian of Glendora, Calif., Roberta Noland of Hermiston, Karen Phillips of Willoughby, Ohio, and Carol Ward of La Quinta, Calif.; four brothers, Thomas Liddell of Yucaipa, Calif., Dick Liddell of Chester, Calif., James Liddell of Victorville, Calif., and Jonathan Liddell of Ontario, Calif.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
