Biography: Edgar Stanton was a resident of Aspen since the early 1950s. He served as secretary-treasurer and director of the Aspen Skiing Corporation and for many years was a trustee of the Music Associates of Aspen. Edgar was also involved with numerous business and non-profit efforts in the area. His wife Rosamond was involved in the formation of the hospital district and construction of Aspen Valley Hospital. Their daughter, Rosamond Larrabee, became a resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico and was still living there in the early 2000s.
