Born in New Cornwall, she was a daughter of the late Wilbert and Gertrude (Veinotte) Veinotte. She was a beloved mother and grandmother who put the worries and concerns of her family before her own. She was cherished by all that knew her, both family and friends. She loved spending time with her family and them with her. She was a housewife all her life. She sold Avon for a number of years and she enjoyed knitting and church. She belonged to Liverpool United Baptist Ladies Auxiliary, the Missionary Society and the Liverpool Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her daughters, Sylvia (Doug) Zwicker and Judy (Bud) Huey, both of Liverpool; granddaughters, Kim (Brian) Mansfield, Debbie (James) Wolfe and Krista; grandsons, Kenny and Shane; great-grandson, Benjamin; sisters, Daisy, Memphis, Tenn.; Phyllis, Parkdale; Lola, Maplewood; brothers, Claude (Ethel), Berwick; William (Doreen), Alberta. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Clarence "Hank"; brothers, Percy, Perry and Elwood in infancy. Visitation will be held 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool. A funeral service will take place 3 p.m. Sunday, December 28, in Liverpool United Baptist Church, Liverpool. Rev. Greg Denton will be officiating. No flowers by request.
