Ida Albertha Crouse, 95, of Lunenburg, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2001, in Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in Rhodes Corner, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Willet and Annie Viella (Croft) Crouse. For many years Ida worked in the packing plant at National Sea Products, Lunenburg. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Lunenburg. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her nieces, Vivian Goddard, Bridgewater; Dorothy Davis, Yarker, Ontario; Brenda Maxner, Phyllis Zinck, both of Lunenburg; Elsie Peckham, Ottawa; Roberta Walters, Garden Lots; nephews, Roseville Lohnes, Lunenburg; Leo Crouse, Spectacle Lake; Herman Crouse, Northwest; several great-nieces; great-nephews; great-great nieces; and great-great nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Jean Lohnes, Isabel Knickle, Mabel Crouse; twin brother, Edwin and brother, Clarence. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg with visiting hours Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Zion Lutheran Church, Lunenburg. Interment in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Harbour View Haven or to any charity. With thanks to Rosemary Rafuse.
