Der Kuhhirte Curt Klein starb am 25. November 1713. Seine Eltern waren Magnus Klein p.m. und "uxor" Katharina. Seine Ehefrau hieß Elisabeth. Als "textus electus" diente Buch Sirach, Kap. 30, Vers 17: „Der Tod ist besser als ein bitteres Leben und ewige Ruhe besser als stete Krankheit.“

Rätsel wirft folgender Eintrag ins Zeller Sterberegister auf: Curt Klein: gestorben am 02.12.1707 „subita morte summis doloribus extinctus“; Eltern: Magnus Klein b.m. uxor Katharina, „die alte Kindelfrau“; Ehefrau des Verstorbenen: Maria; textuselectus: Psalm 39, Vers 5: „Herr, lehre mich doch, daß es ein Ende mit mir haben muß und mein Leben ein Ziel hat und ich davon muß.“ Handelt es sich bei diesem Toten vielleicht um Johann Curt Klein?
