Am 31. Januar 1770 notiert der Pfarrer im KB Hebel: "Jacob Pflüger wegen begangener fornication mit Maria Katharina Metje (?) hat seine Buße für öffentl. Gemeinde abgelegt." [KB Hebel, bei Archion S.124]
Jacob konnte es nicht lassen: "14. Dezember [1770]: "Katharina Maria, Friedrich Metzens Ehefrau, hat für begangenen Ehebruch mit Jacob Pflüger auf einem Sonntag für öffentliche Gemeinde abgelegt." [KB Hebel, bei Archion S.125]
