Joannes Henricus Alfter wurde auf Gut Thielenbach geboren und am 26. November 1727 getauft. Seine Eltern waren Joannes "Meiß" (Bartholomäus) Alfter und "uxor" Anna Katharina. Als Paten sind Joannes Henricus Forst aus Halft und Anna Gertrudis Alfter aus Nannenhohn genannt. Bei der Patin handelt es sich sehr wahrscheinlich um eine Tante des Täuflings, die Ehefrau des Joannes Gerardus Alfter.
Joannes Henricus war wahrscheinlich am 7. Februar 1752 als "frater sponsi" Trauzeuge bei der Heirat seines älteren Bruders Joannes Petrus Alfter mit Maria Anna Wilkomsfeld.
Über sein weiteres Leben ist Beate Dahmen auch nichts bekannt.
