Der folgende Trauregistereintrag vom 14. August 1782 könnte sich auf eine späte Heirat dieses Johann Peter Alfter beziehen: "Petrus Alfter ex Mittelscheid hic baptizatus et Maria Katharina Grosfeld ex Hermesmühl, baptizata in Geistingen. TestesAntonius Eick ex foro et [Reverendus] D[ominus] Schumacher, vicarius hujus [loci]. » [BA 2579, digital S.34] Er wäre dann 47 Jahre alt gewesen.
