Laut einer Mail von Frau Langkafel vom 7.3.2019 war Daniel (sic!) Pöppelmann (gest. 1709) Sohn des Johann und Enkel des Matthäus Pöppelmann. Eine Geneanet-Quelle kommt zum selben Ergebnis. Christa Pöppelmann hingegen ist überzeugt, dass Daniel ein Sohn des Werner war.
