Dieser Johannes Sauer, Müller und Schöffe, könnte der Vater meines Vorfahren Johann Adam Sauer sein.
Das errechnete Geburtsjahr ist 1704. Seinen Vater habe ich noch nicht zweifelsfrei ermittelt.
Aus der Ehe mit Maria Cordula N.N. sind dem OFB zufolge bis 1760 fünf Kinder hervorgegangen, allerdings nicht mein Vorfahr Johann Adam Sauer (*um 1729).
Johannes Sauer starb am 13. August 1756 in Unter-Schönmattenwag: "decima tertia [augusti 1756] Sepultus fuit Joannes Sauer loci Scabinus et molitor omnibus extremis munitis lenta tabe consumptus anno aetatis 52 et m[?] cujus anima requiescat inS[ancta] pace." Johannes Sauer ist nach einem langsamen Siechtum ("lenta tabe consumptus") gestorben. (Das OFB gibt aufgrund eines Übersetzungs- fehlers den 31. August als Sterbedatum an.)
