Anna Maria Wetzel war die erste Frau des Konrad Friedrich Jacob. Sie wurde in der fraglichen Zeit nicht in Obermelsungen geboren. Ebenso nicht in Melsungen I und II, letzteres aber nur sehr schwer entzifferbar. Auch im Konfirmationsregister Pfiefe habe ich 1764 und 1766 keinen Eintrag gefunden.
Anna Maria Jacob, eine geborene Wetzel, starb am 2. August 1808 in Melsungen. Sie war 57 Jahre alt geworden. Die Beerdigung fand am 5. August statt. [KB Melsungen I 1770-1815 S.831, bei Archion S.2176]
