Sie wurde im Krematorium in Freiburg eingeäschert,und ihre Urne im Grab von Willi und Rosa Meixner beigesetzt. Sie war ab 12.12.2000 bis zu ihrem Tod im Pflegeheim St. Nikolai in Waldkirch, vorher noch eineinhalb Jahre in einem Pflegeheim in Neustadt/Schwarz. Vor ihrem Aufenhalt im Pflegeheim wohnte sie unteranderem in St. Blasien, Waldshut-Tiengen in der Schillerstrasse und Staltenweg im Stadtteil Tiengen.
