Ralene Mae ZIRKLE

The Richland [KS] Citizen, 12 Jan 1939, Thursday ATTEND FUNERAL FOR RALENE ZIRKLE Many Richland friends of the Snell and Zirkle families attended funeral services Monday at Pleasant Hill for little Ralene Zirkle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Zirkle of Pauline, and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Snell and Mr. and Mrs. George Zirkle of Berryton. The grandparents were formerly residents of this community and their many friends here extend sympathy to them and Ralene's parents in their sorrow. The Matney school was not opened until Tuesday of this week because of funeral services for Ralene Zirkle, niece of Miss Eleanor Snell, the teacher. Same edition: The sympathy of the community is with Mr. and Mrs. Lester Zirkle in the loss of their daughter, Ralene Mae, who died of pneumonia January 7 after a two day's illness. Ralene would have been three years old the fifteenth of June.
