Arleen Alice ZIRKLE

Mrs. Arleen Alice Zirkle Pallo, 80, a resident of the Algart Health Care Facility in Cleveland, Ohio, departed this life early Sunday morning, Oct. 21, 2007, at the care facility. She had been a resident of Ohio since the age of 20 and was raised in Belington. She was born June 14,1927, at Belington, a daughter of the late Louis J. and Cleo V. Mcauley Zirkle. In March of 1952, she was united in marriage to the late Frank James Pallo Jr., who preceded her in death in 1975. Mrs. Pallo is survived by one son, Kenneth Pallo of Cleveland, Ohio; three daughters, Sandra Pallo, Miami of Florida, Susan Echols of Lakewood, Ohio, and Francine Salopek of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; three sisters, Wilma R. Trytiak of Strongsville, Ohio, Oleta Faye Sears of Clearwater, Fla., and Anneta M. Rak of Columbia Station, Ohio. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren surviving include, Angela, Alicia Jenna, Margie, Jim, Winnie, Faith, Jordan, Tyler, Hanna and Landon. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Vincent B. Zirkle. Arleen attended the schools of Barbour County and was a graduate of Belington High School with the class of 1945. She was employed by Defense Finance and accounting service for 15 years having retired in 1995. Friends may call at Talbott Funeral Home in Belington on Wednesday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. to noon, the funeral hour when final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Arden Beck officiating. Interment will follow in Concord Cemetery near Belington. The family ask that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Ohio, 2500 East 22nd St., Cleveland, Ohio 44115-9720.
