Ila Mildred ZERKLE

NEW HAVEN - Ila Mildred Anderson Roush, 89, of Weirton, West Virginia, formerly of New Haven, West Virginia, died Friday, December 12, 2003, at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born June 26, 1914, in New Haven, daughter of the late Frank and Daisy Cunduff Zerkle. Ila was also preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Edgar Anderson, and her second husband, Ralph Waldon Roush; a brother, Ronald Zerkle; and a stepdaughter, Lila Whalen. Ila was a homemaker, and a member of the Bechtel Methodist Church. She is survived by her son, James Zerkle, and his wife, Bertha, of Weirton; daughter, Jane Wright, and her husband, Wayne, of Orrville, Ohio; two stepsons, Bob and Donald Anderson, both of Steubenville, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Gladys Dye of Chicago, Illinois; a brother, Ray Zerkle of Paris, Pennsylvania; and six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation was 12 noon until the time of the funeral service, at 1 pm today, Monday, December 15, 2003, at the Foglesong-Tucker Funeral Home in Mason, West Virginia. The Rev. Timothy Allen will preside. Interment followed in the Graham Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, P O Box 961 CS, Weirton, West Virginia 26062.
