Johann war Ackersmann. Ravenstein, Badenhufe, Hausleutehufe und Düsselhufe
Am 1. Juni 1552 wird "Johain tho Alsum" und Frau "Lyen Weintz" mit dem Gute behandigt. Als Johann Düssel das Gut übernahm, war die bereits erwähnte Katstelle "Ravenstein" dazugekommen. Gleichzeitig erhielt Johann Düssel im Hamborner Holz das Nutzungsrecht einer "Hausleutehufe"
Nun kommt für Johann Düssel ein neuer Hausname auf: "Kusen (Kousen, Kausen". In einem Hofesgerichtsprotokoll vom 21 Dezember 1559 heißt unser Johann Düssel "Johann Düssels genannt Kusen". In Protokollen von 1556 "Johann Kausen". 1582 wieder "Jan Düssel genannt Kousen". Die Kinder des Ehepaares Johann Düssel.Kusen und Magdalene Wens führen dann nur noch den Hausnamen Kusen.
