[Ahlf _all.GED] [JW Claus Ahlf.FTW] !PARENTS-MARRIAGE-SPOUSE: Evangelical Lutheran Church records, Burg, Dithmarschen, Schleswig Holstein, Konfirmation 1808-1889 and Marriages 1807-1852, pg 324, #12; photographed and information copied at Church office, October 1995 by June WALLING, Sunnyvale, California; possibly was born in Meldorf, Diekdorf, or Albersdorf, Dithmarschen. !CHILDREN: Evangelical Lutheran Church records; christening records, register #5, 1807-1843; Burg, Schleswig Holstein, Dithmarschen, Germany; record copied and photographed by June WALLING, October 1995; lists children also spouse as Claus AHLF, b. 1815. !Info from handwritten baptismal record of (John) Claus AHLF from Germany, in effects of Evelyn AHLF, 1969; gives name of spouse. I visited the church and was allowed to look at the original books. They could not be photo copied, but I was allowed to photograph them. Many of the three or four books I saw were indexed. Frau MOLLER was very helpful and had marked several of the births and christenings (taufe) that I was interested in. Before going, a letter was sent to the church saying we would be there and hoped to view the records. Letter received from source in Germany, June 1995, states Anna Maria AHLF, born Prien is the mother of Claus AHLF; the letter confirms the information on the handwritten certificate, will get a translation of the letter.
