[Ahlf _all.GED] [JW Claus Ahlf.FTW] !BIRTH-PARENTS-DEATH: In Ev./Lutheran Church, Burg/Dithmarschen, Schleswig Holstein, Germany, Taufe Register #5 1807-1843, pg 234. #18, Claus Ahlf is listed as father of Johann (b. 1824); Claus' wife is shown as Anna Margaretha born LAU, baptismal date not given, but godfather listed as --??--Moller (possibly Claus Moller); copied at church office, October 1995 by June WALLING, Sunnyvale, CA; papers from Rudiger AHLF, Aalstrup, Denmark, August, 1997 confirm info. !MARRIAGE-SPOUSE: Ev.Lutheran Church, Burg/Dithmarschen, Schleswig Holstein, Germany, Marriages 1807-1857, pg 448, #18, list Johann AHLF mit Margaretha TIETJEMS and date of marriage; "family tree" from Kent AHLF, Kirkland, Washington, sent to June WALLING, Sunnyvale, Calif., Feb 1996, gives same info, no documentation, said to have 6 children; Rudiger AHLF gives marriage date. Notes: I visited the church and was allowed to look at the original books. They could not be photo copied, but I was allowed to photograph them. Many of the three or four books I saw were indexed. Frau MOLLER was very helpful and had marked several of the births and christenings (taufe) that I was interested in. Before going to the church, a letter was sent saying we would be there and hoped to view the records.
