Notes for William Fletcher II: Will of William Fletcher: In the name of God amen I William Fletcher being very sick and weak ofbody but of perfect sence and memory calling to mind that it is onceappointed for all men to die, thought fit to make and ordain this to bemy last will and testament in manner and forme as followeth. First of allI give and bequeath my soul to God who gave it hopeing in and through themerits of Jesus Christ to be Saved and my body I give to the Earth to beburied after a christian manner at the discretion of my Wife. Item I give unto my Loveing wife Sarah Fletcher my Plantation whereon Inow live on during her natural life then to revert to my son MatthewFletcher. Item I give to the Child my wife goes with one feather bed one sheet andblanket and quilt and if my wife is not with child then to her. item I give unto my wife Sarah Fletcher all my money Silver and Gold alsoall my Nales old and new. Item I give unto my son Matthew Fletcher all my Tanners Tooles and Shooemakers Tooles also one bed and bolster and a quilt and one sheet andblanket also one large chest also my gun also my red horse called Jockey.I give to my son Matthew three cattle also three sheep I give to my sonMatthew Fletcher my Plantation I now live on scituate lying and being thehead of Andua Creek to him his heirs and assigns forever. Item I give unto John Evans a druged coat and a worsted vest and britchesshooes and stockings. Item I give unto my wife Sarah Fletcher a grey mare and black horse alsomy plow and harrow and all my hoes item I give unto my son Matthew two iron potts one large and one smallalso one ovel table and a couch one pair of mill stones one largegrinstone. Item I give unto my wife Sarah Fletcher two spinning wheels one linnenand one woollen also four sheep and all the thread that is spun and fflaxand five chears. I give unto my son Matthew Fletcher five chairs I giveto my wife and child or children all the rest of my estate not beforementioned to be equally devided. Lastly I do appoint my beloved wife tobe my hole executrix of this my Last Will and Testament as Witness myhand this 19th day of May 1729.
