Notes from Willeford's side: William Taylor Butcher was Billed as "The
Silver Voiced Tenor of The West" He traveled around the country singing
before his marriage. He was crushed between two railroad cars and was
later treated in the state sanitoruim. He finally recovered enough to live
at home for a few month before his death. PAST AWAY IN CLARINDA, IA
