Purchases Oberndorf Leupold III (Died 1379), the elder brother of Konrad I inhabited either the Schürstab house or the property above the mighty St. Sebald. From 1369 to his death, Leupold III, a nurse in the Holy Ghost Hospital, donated an altar and several items to finance a living priest. Because of this foundation, he was eventually buried in the middle of the old Holy Spirit Church. In 1965 it was discovered in the spine of the remains of a trading book, which Leupold III recorded between 1364-1383. It showed that his business was stretched wide from Niederrhein to Poland and from Hungary to Northern Italy trading in precious materials like silver, wax, spices, Brabant cloth and wine, but he did not trade in metal. Like many merchants, he invested in profitable properorth of Erlangen (now the village of M?hrendorf), which a little later the name was changed, which led to clashes with the Count. Leupold III was appointed as one of the three Supreme Councilors alongside Ulrich II. Stromer and Berthold I. Haller in 1370 which represented a special honor, especially since he was also in 1372, 1376 and 1378 nominated as one of five Council Advisers. L9 and all married according to social status. His second marriage was with Gerhaus von Streitberg (died 1428) remained without children. Gerhaus von Streitberg married a second time to Jakobs Waldstromer (died 1395) and their marriage produced numerous mordescendants had a very prominent place in the Sebaldus Church. After completion of the eastern choir in 1379 the family donated a colored glass window, which "belonged to the most expensive pieces of equipment in the church ... much more expensive than paintings or sculptures”’s coat of arms and those of his mother and his two wives. 4 In the City Council Leupold III was named a senior since 1366 because his nephew carried the same first name and he was quite a bit older than him., ,
