Harwood & Theodore Harwood ordered to pay 2/6 p/w towardsthe maintenance of their mother. (John Harwood had died 6 March 1899) Christchurch Star Criminal cases set down 6 May 1902. Theodore Harwood & James Reid for forgery & uttering. Forged a cheque on Union Bank for 9 pounds 13/6 purported to have beensigned by H Blyth. Pleaded guilty to forgery but not guilty touttering. Reid sentenced to 3 years imprisonment & Harwood to 3months. Nothing known of Harwood other than he occasionally got drunk. He was a labourer. The Press, 20 Aug1903. Imprisoned for 9 months for theft of a bicycle.
