"Gawler Shooting Tragedy
Leonard von Schill Dies.
Yesterday afternoon an inquest was held by Mr. Thomas Collets, Coronier, at the residence of Mr. Victor H. French, Gawler, touching the death of Leonard Von Schill, who met with a shooting accident on Thursday evening.
Four witnesses were examined and the evidence tendered went to show that tho deceased was getting through a panel of a fence when the gun which he was carrying exploded. The charge struck him in the back of the head. As the result of the wound hedied a few hours later.
The coroner returned a verdict of accidental death.
In today's issue brethren of the Loyal Latrobe Lodge M.U., I.O.O.F. are requested to attend the funeral of the late .... which will leave his late residence, Lewis Street, Latrobe, tomorrow, at 3 p.m."

Brethren of the above lodge are requested to attend the funeral of their late brother, Leonard Von Schill, which will leave his late residence, Lewis Street, Latrobe, tomorrow (Sunday), at 3p.m. - by order of the N.G., E.J. Broomhall, Secretary."
