MRS. C. H. VON SCHILL.
The death took place on Sunday night of Mrs. Von Schill, wife of Mr. C. H.
Von Schill, of Dubbo, at the age of 33 years. Some time ago the deceased
lady developed pleurisy, which at a later stage was followed by double
pneumonia. Her condition being weak, she hovered for days between life and
death, finally succumbing to her illness.
At times she appeared to be making progress towards recovery, but even-
tually she suffered a relapse, and all that medical aid and careful nursing
could do was of no avail.
The late Mrs. Von Schill was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo.
Palmer, of "Inglewood," Darling street, and had been in Dubbo all her
life. As a girl, Jessie Palmer was always the life of any company, and
was extremely popular among her girl friends, all of whom will be much ag-
grieved to hear of her early demise.
In June, 1914, she married Mr. C. H. Von Schill, and besides a sorrowing
widower, two little children, a girland a boy, survive her. The bereaved
family have the deepest sympathy of a large circle of friends in their hour of
bereavement. The remains were laid to rest in the Presbyterian portion of
the local cemetery to-day. Rev. A. McCallum read the burial service, and
Mr. E. Carrett had charge of the mortuary arrangements.
