Obiturary: "Death of Mrs. Eli Jacobs". Mrs. Belle Jacobs died very suddenly Sunday morning at 4.30 at her home on Main St., her death beingdue to heart trouble. She as ill but a few days and her death Sundaywas a shock to her many friends and relatives.
Mrs. Jacobs was born in New York City in 1862 and came to Ligonier a number of years ago with her husband Eli Jacobs and has sincde been aresident of this city. She was one of Ligonier`s most highly respetedladies and leaves a host of friends both here and elsewhere with kindremberances of her sweet and genial personality.
Funeral services were held from the residence on Main Street, Tuesdayafternoon Rabbi Leibert of South Bend occiating. Burial in Oak Park.
The leaves, to mourn their loss, her husband Eli, Son Irvin, one sister Mrs. Leon Kreiger of Chicago and a host of sincere friends.
